Registration form 2026-2027 Swim Year
Session: September 9th, 2026 - March 1st, 2027
Meets: Begin in October (Held Saturday Afternoon/Evenings)
Once a month on Saturday afternoons against other YMCAs throughout metro Atlanta, 2 swim
meets required plus YMCA Championship Meet in March.
Swim Team Try-outs are Mandatory: August 24th and 28th From 5:00 to 6:30 pm
Bronze: From 4:30-5:00
Silver: From 5:00-6:00
Gold: From 6:00-7:00
Parent Meeting: September1st, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the Activity Room across
from the pool right after team tryouts.
Practice Groups/Times:
Bronze Group - Ages 5 - 10 (Tuesday / W ednesday/Thursday 4:30 - 5:00) Cost $105 monthly / Seasonal $525
This group is for our first year swimmers. All swimmers must be able to swim one length
(25 yards) of the pool freestyle and backstroke. Will focus on stroke drills, kicking, basic
swim team skills and endurance. (80% Technique and Drills / 10% Endurance / 10% Team
skills)
Silver Group - Ages 11 - 13 (Monday-Thursday 5:00 - 6:00) Cost $115 monthly / Seasonal $570
Swimmers should know all 4 strokes to be in this group and will continue to refine the
strokes, starts and turns. We will continue to work on endurance building, speed and
workout techniques. (60% Technique / 30% Endurance / 10% Team Skills)
Gold Group - 14 - 18 (Monday -Thursday 6:00 - 7:30) C ost $120 monthly / Seasonal $620
Focus will be on training to build endurance and speed. Introduction of race strategies and
fine tuning of all 4 strokes. We will continue to work on endurance building, speed and
workout techniques. (40% Technique / 40% Endurance / 20% Dryland/Speed Drills)
